So, I received SOME AMAZING NEWS LAST NIGHT!
I taught with my ward sister missionaries and after the lesson one of them asked me how my paper work for my mission is coming along. I thought since I don't turn 21 until November I couldn't start my papers until August so I told her that it isn't coming along. Then both of the sisters told me that I can start it NOW! Sometimes it takes a while to get everything in order and do my physical and dental care so I can start it now to give me enough time so I can leave right around when I turn 21.
I'M SO EXCITED!
I need to set up an appointment with my bishop so we can get this rolling. I want to leave as soon as I can after I turn 21. When I first starting thinking of a mission it seemed so far away but now it's so close!
It's really happening.
It's crazy!
I'm so happy!
These next eight months are going to go by so FAST! I need to remember to not let a moment slip passed me. I know my mission is going to be the best time of my life so far. I'm so happy and so grateful I have the opportunity to serve.
DAH!
I had the biggest smile on my face all of last night.
Life is so so so beautiful. The good, the bad, the ups, the downs, the ugly, the wonderful, the happiness, the sadness, the opportunities, the experiences.
All of it.
I love it all.
Other happy news is I am doing some volunteer work that I am really looking forward to. I signed up with United Way and will be tutoring second graders at Kaiser Elementary School. I am a little nervous but my excitement outweighs any nervousness. I also will be volunteering at Second Chance. I have helped there before with their Doggy Day Out program, but this time I will be an 'official' volunteer. I will keep you updated on how all of that goes. I am expecting some great adventures.
Life is good.
God is good.
All the time.
Have a happy Friday Eve!
