Run Awayyyy

It's that time of year again!!
Last spring I started training for a 5K I wanted to do in May.
It was a blast! The atmosphere at the race was so fun and so positive. And I knew I was contributing to a good cause. I did pretty well for it being my first race. I was really proud of myself for setting a goal and then accomplishing it.

I did another 5K later in the summer. It was a learning experience. I didn't do as well, and there were reasons for that. I was grateful for experience though because it taught me some lessons

AND NOW I am starting to train for the upcoming races this summer. I am super excited and I hope to do a lot more.
The first race I am planning to do is on Saturday, May 7th. It is the Oklahoma City Family Center for Autism PieceWalk & 5K. This is the first race I did last summer and I am looking forward to participating in it again. The next one I plan to do is on Saturday, May 14th it is the Walk in the Park for Parkinsons 5K Run/Walk. There are many others I plan to participate in, but these two are coming up soon.
If you like to walk, run or bike I STRONGLY encourage you to visit THIS WEBSITE and find a race to participate in. There is anything from 5K's to marathons to triathlons listed. There is a race for everyone. You get to exercise, push yourself, donate to a great cause, get outside, and surround yourself with people who have the same passions as you do
It's great.
I can't even tell you how excited I am! I had such a great experience with the races I did last year. I can't wait to get out there again!
Have a magnificent Monday ya'll!
